From mates I wouldn't bother, the baffles will drop out well before they rust
One guys on his 3rd one seems to last a Euro trip so probably 5 years for most

Don't know about the baffles, but mine has been annoyingly loud since day one.

Ah well, looks like some thing else to go on the list of useless crap,things like
Tubeless tyres,tubed split rims,stainless exhausts, stainless rims,alloy kits,clutches,and my favourite jettex carbs,all of these i have used and had no problem with,and by the way i have just fitted a phbh carb which i think is one piece of crap.
