The reason it is £4 (and only £4) is because of the adverts.

Imagine the task of finding another 1000 new readers for the mag, and just how little that would bring in as new revenue. Scootering must be run on a very tight budget in order to remain viable.

The magazine industry must have taken a huge hit with the arrival of the internet. Who would have thought they'd be giving NME away?!

Maybe the new dep ed will bring in a few changes. Not a bad mag for the price of a pint though.

I'd love to see more scootering fanzines. Whatever happened to those?
