Hi, i'm not sure what the engine is, I did say I know nothing about Vespa's . My mate says it's a PX 125 in a PK 50 frame. He bought it like that and that's all I have to go on.
Now I know what the adjusters are for i'll try working on those.

Where the gear cables go would give us an idea of your engine. A px style engine has the gear cables joining the engine at the side below the fan. Smallframe engines have the gear cables connected to the engine underneath. Sounds like an interesting machine. Good luck with it!

I think the fact that he's said the carb has a screw on the top and one at the back firmly points to a PX engine regardless of the frame its fitted to.
