As a matter of interest, What tire did you have fitted or rather what was the load rating of your rear tire? I will only use the high load (59kilos?) as they are always 3 ply construction and will have much stronger side walls which should perform better in the event of a deflation. The extra ply might also help prevent a puncture in the first place but the downside is that they will be harder to fit to a tubeless rim.
