Ok haha!
we have an annual event here
www.motoretta.co.nz 1000 miles over four days
this year the rules were relaxed and simplified ( some say too much)
so we thought we would do something different, so over a manic divorce inducing 7/8 months we built these four simultaneously
Tigress
blended to gts vespa front end with uprated brembos, back brakes are off the dirt bike as are radiators, rear shocks are gts
pit bike back wheel with custom swingarm
drz400 lower chassis and motor grafted into tigress frame, frame was widened at the back by 4 inches to allow for extra s**t...
everything else was pretty much made as we went, oil reservoir... make one, does it wk? yes, quick make 3 more......!
the green jerry cans are the fuel tanks which also acts as a brace for the frame,
and good question woody, its really hard to find 1/2 psi fuel pumps to mimic gravity feed on four stroke (and at short notice) so we spent a lot of time fkn around with a pressure reducing valve and a restrictor, with a fuel return to the top of the tank so the fuel pump didn't flood the carb
this is something we need to sort properly but it was monday and we were leaving on wed to the start line..........
ill post a vid soon from the race (and yeah we won lolz)
