I have just been through the same issue and here is some advice that Corrado, provided on another site

In order of state of tune you can go from Casa 186, Mugello, RT, GT, Imola, Casa SS, RB20. All top quality kits and they'll all do what it says on their tins. No such thing as a bad kit these days [discounting the Ebay Indian kits]. Choose the kit that suits your riding style, they're all in the £350 - £500 ish price range.
Don't choose by bhp numbers either .. Casa 186 doesn't fair too well on a dyno but it's a beautiful kit to ride.

The kit is only the start

Once you have chosen the kit you will need the following
1. Exhaust £200ish
2. Carb £120 ish
3. Crank ( look at the kit then decide on what you need) £100 minimum
4. Electronic ignition £150 ish

You will also need the following,
new chain and front sprocket to increase the gearing
Replacement mag housing bearing for the crank

Before you buy have a look at what price the Europeans are selling their kits for as the £1 =1.4 euros.
€500=£357.10, it may be best to buy in the UK but you can use it to bargain.
If you buy from Europe watch extra credit card charges when buying in euros

If you can, have a ride on a few other bikes with kits. It's all well and good people saying that they'd recommend the kit they've bought, but if it doesn't suit your riding style, it's a bit of a faff buying another one if you're not happy with it.
Also, ride a few different set ups of a kit once you've narrowed your choice down. Different carbs/exhausts can make a wild difference to how two 'same' kits perform.

End of the day which kit is down to how you ride, you wouldn't buy an Imola kit when all you really do is ride around town and the occasional ride out, and if you want a fast tourer/rally going scoot then you wouldn't look at the Casa. If you want a decent all rounder then for me it is between 3 kits; Mugello, GT and RT. All can give you decent touring speed but are also very ridable around town with the right set up. My preference is the GT kit but also have a Mugello in one of my scooters.

I have been trying to find the article/topic/link which I read a few months ago now, but the lads here at Scooterotica had a post explaining how they can port up a 150 cylinder with very empressive results.
May want to give them a call for some advice.
Just another option to consider.

MBgm Race Tour. I noticed recently that the 195 kit has dropped in price to £365... bargain. Stick a 60x110 crank on and it takes it up to 200cc. Recently completed the Coast 2 Coast on mine, loves hills!!! But as others have said you'll spend more than twice that upgrading all associated parts. Once done though you'll know the engine inside out...!

Just done a 1,000 miles in a week on the MBGM RT 225 , a mate with me had a 195. Both out of the box and with no issues....a pleasure to ride with options to get more out of it. In reality on open French country roads we averaged between 48 and 60. Plenty fast enough! Mine has done 73. What ever you choose try and have a ride on one before buying.

The 225 is the same price due to the Euro, brilliant value for money.

Can't comment on the RT kit other than I know of 3 people who fitted them and no longer have them.

Run a Muggy 186 in my Series 2 with a 26mm dellorto and ancillotti clubman and it does a good job, very torquey and great to ride around town and will do 60mph all day long with a bit more on top for over-taking. Running on the same crank, gearing, etc. that was already in the bike (Indian GP150) and no issues.

It now has a sidecar fitted so changed the gearing and clutch, will see how that goes.
