Yeah, I heard top end wasn't so good but what's it like low dow? For nipping about town? My problem is that I have a fast Mugello 198 so will be comparing
Great round town.....lots of low end torque and max's out at 55/60 mph . not bad on fuel consumption either, at least compared to aTS1.
I've had mine in the silver special for about 5 years now ?? If memory serves and its been solid. Starts first kick no choke and today is the first time I pulled the plug to check the color   Dark Black /brown....a tad rich . But i prefer to run it rich with Petrol here in NYC being crap. G

I had one on my series 2 with no problems at all, pulled well and reliable. The only reason I changed was there was not enough power to pull a sidecar.

Obviously a lot depends on what sort of exhaust pipe you have. Initially I ran mine on a standard exhaust and it had so much torque it was phenomenal. It was like riding an automatic. I could go up hills in 4th gear! I'm running it on a standard 42mm Clubman now and there's a marked difference. Doesn't have the pulling power so much, but still good and a better all rounder I think.
