lovely bike and I can now finally rest my case.

This is a guy that was actually there in the 1960's and knows what a true "Mod Scooter" of the time was like.

The number of "discussions" I've had with guys that have only read about the era and possibly seen one or two pics of "over adorned" scooters, and then go and cover their scooters with chrome is unbelievable. More worrying is the fact that they will not accept that a true "modded" scooter is just like that shown above and argue that every bike of the era DID have umpteen lights and mirrors- if you were lucky you had possibly 4 mirrors (I had 4 although one was smashed :D ) and a couple of spots (that didn't work anyway!!) On our wages/ pocket money you simply couldn't afford any more!

Well done on your first rally , you must have many happy memories on the scooter , here's to a few more ;)

And a big thank you to me for coming home from school and proving to my mates it runs still!! Little fuel down the plug hole (some on the floor) and get about 3 seconds of life out of the motor. I kept the motor in working order for years. You just didn't know about it. ;)
