long range tank

well i had a go at fitting this tank........not good ...think it was made to fit a vespa :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
need to look round for one that will actually fit.....oh hell
my mate had bought it off e-bay from a private sale :oops: think i know why they sold it lol
so back to the drawing board
whats the views on the 2 nd tank that goes in place of tool box and is linked to std tank?
i am fitting him a legshield box so losing the space isnt an issue

I had a right struggle with this one it went in eventually but in the end when I changed the carb it didn't work with the new carb so took it out again. I guess it might have been easier with the tool box out TBF.

The transfer pipes are generally small so they take an age to fill. I've got a new set somewhere, I had the connecting pipes enlarged to about 20mm but then I couldn't source any fuel resistant pipe big enough to fit. If you're losing the toolbox you may as well fit a full length tank like Oiltek or Diablo.
