Vespa Digital Speedo Cable

Cheers George, I see now how it all works. Buying from beedspeed and there was no mention of the bracket. I think I can fit it to the front forks, so everything is starting to look good now. Will double check everything tomorrow. Thanks for your help.

Ok got everything fitted & absolutely nothing on the speedo, I reckon theres no more than 5mm between the magnet and the sensor when it passes, is there something I need to do to get this to work.
If all connected,
Speedo set to ' EXT'.
Speed pick up set to '01P'
It should work.
I have only ever set 1 on the fly by wire, and it worked straight off.

It depends on the size of your wheel/tyre combo. The instruction book says to position the front wheel valve at the bottom of the wheel and make a chalk mark on the floor, push the scoot forward so the rotates once in full and make another mark on the ground when the valve is back at the bottom, measure the distance (easier with 2 people!). I think mine was around 1330, but that's with 3.00x10 tyres on a Vespa smallframe, so yours may be different.
