Kit had a shop over the other side of b'ham (where they all sound like they're speaking Welsh) many years ago.
I think he's still around too.

Around 86 Dez and Simon farrell set up shop inside an old bike shop ( the name escapes me atm) on the stratford road just down the road from today's Gran Sport
That was Jasons shop Russ, I remember when he bought everything from scooterama when they closed down in the late 80's, the shops name was R&G's which was just up from Onslows, Simon worked in Onslows for a while before him and Dez first opened classically Italian in Small heath though.

Simon left around 1989 and Jason started working with Dez and moved over to Ladywood, a few years later Dez opened Gran sport and Jason carried on with classically Italian back over on the Stratford road, Dez then left brum and Gary bought gran sport, then a few years later Jason closed the shop on the stratford road and now works at gran sport for Gary, Dez has come back and now has a small place near Shrawley.
Many others have come and gone over that time too in the brum area lol

much worse believe me
It got much more silly a few years ago, within about a ten mile radius there was gran sport, classically Italian, scoot 2000, new generation, ws9, stu owen, some bloke working out of a farm yard, a shop in Brownhills aimed at the plastic mods, and numerous others working and selling from their garages and a few more "shops" on the other side of brum. More scooter traders than you could shake a stick at

.

The "Face of '68" I believe. Benny went out for a spanner then and was never seen again. Mind you, I'm sure I've seen him wandering around this area!!
