I had a SPAQ one on my Jet. It was fine and I only took it off when I went down the Zip front wheel with SIP calliper and ant-dive route in search of something more progressive. Nothing wrong with sand caste if it's done properly, the original inboard discs were sand caste I believe and the Tino ones were too.
