Thanks again, I'm on the right track now I think. I have read about the alignment problems so well aware of that. Appreciate your info pal.
Edit just checked the pick up and reading 93ohms is this close enough or down? I have read it should be 95-115 ohms.
Lt coil is 447 ohms.

Neither of those readings bother me.

Ok it looks like it could be an alignment issue. Out with the shims.
