Article in this March Scootering by someone called Sticky (no pun intended) 'Gaskets & Sealants' (pages 82-84) may help.

Cheers fellas.......she's back together, used Loctite copper silicone, spin round the block, sounds great and rides great! Praise the Lord I thought it was goodbye Mugello :D

Just gotta re-jet to suit the new reed valve and she might be ready for Storm the Orme this weekend.

Now I'm off for a pint!
