if you do go for an et4 make sure it has a key and is running , if its been damaged or someone has tried to hot wire it they can be expensive and awkward to repair, that is my entire knowledge on et4's from experience :D

The series 2 can accept a variety of engines. Most people use 2 strokes. They are easier to rebuild and some have 10 inch wheels. Which makes the conversion look more authentic.
I have seen a series 2 with an et4 engine ....white trash I think its called.
Also an Irish lad has built an LD with et4 engine and forks. He sent me some pictures as I am looking at doing something similar with my LD.
A guy on here built an amazing LD auto conversion. Dean I think he is called. It was sky blue and looked fantastic. I think he may have gone 2 stroke.
You can buy an immobiliser bypass for the et4 for 70 quid in the UK. Most piaggio engines would suffice for your build as would the aprilia mojito/ Havana or aprilia sr. You could even look at the Honda elite scooter or something similar

Yes Robbie that was me that built the Ld Auto ..I'd always go two stroke but that's just me I guess. My posts of the Ld can be found on here under the auto section.

Its one of the best auto conversions I have seen.
