Know what you mean, but bet you a used set of clutch plates you couldn't make one in your shed for £190,
just in case winner pays postage on clutch plates ;)

While we are on can someone explain how halfrauds charge £4.45 for a 12v 35/35 headlight bulb when a scooter dealer (SR) can charge £2.00..............

I would imagine the same HD fuel can is available at a fraction of the halfrauds price.

my last experience with them was when "expertly" build a push rod for the wife.....handle bars and pedals loose - you couldnt get much more wrong on bike.

they are money grabbing sh*t bags

I don't get the original question to be honest. A five litre plastic can from halfrauds is about a fiver, a standard lambretta tank is less than thirty quid?

Keep up at the back.

And the dealer sells them at that price as that is the going rate $215 form Jet200 USA 229 euros from SIP.

As others have stated if it were for a Mini or Fiat 500 you could make a million or more - classic Lambretta - a few hundred at best.
Did you have to do that?

I thought so too Steve.

I'd like to see one fitted but at the moment it appears to overcome most of the issue that LRT's present.
Did you have to do that?

The halfords one is a cheap plastic petrol can that will fit in any vehicle, the other is specifically made for a Lambretta - Two totally different things, how can you compare the two :?:

ahhhh now I get it, never seen them before and yeah, dont like it personally, especially if it's a screw cap as in the recess of a lammy frame that looks a pain in the ass personally.
