"A" plates just don't look right IMO. :D

In Bristol we never had "A" plates- the first Sufix letters were "B" in late '64

My Old TV200 was an "A" plater but just didn't look right although it was kosher

If you zoom it in you can convince yourself it says TV and see dampers.

Chris in Margate wrote:Chris (Bristolmod). You are right. A plate is 1963.
I have always had a mental block over the A probably because my mate had BMM700A TV175 with light tan Pegasus seat, a number I have remembered since 1967 and I associate it with the first year of production of the TV3 which was '62.
Having said that I have yet to see an A plate on a TV200.
Getting older and the lift doesn't always reach the top floor.!!

I owned a 1963 TV200 back around 1970, it was registered as a TV200 rather than GT200 and didn't have any letter after the number, just 3 letters and 3 numbers

Its a 175 according to DVLA:

Last taxed 1997, first reg: 13 November 1963.
And nicely still on their database.

great- a "proper" UK registered TV175.

All proper UK TV175S3's were either 1962; 1963 or 1964. Any "C" platers (1965) are most likely much later imports as Innocenti stopped supplying TV175 to the UK early in 1964 in view of TV200 sales taking off following its introduction in 1963.

T-cut; seals etc and run as is IMO

TV175S3 is still the best scooter Innocenti made IMO
