First CDI while riding at low speed and rpm. Second one at idling. They just stop working. No more spark until cdi is changed.
In iron Lambretta cylinders we trust!

My Vijai has a proper Delhi made CDI kit only. So far no issues in the past 700 kms. It was a AC kit on which I introduced an extra wire to make it DC. Still going good. Hope it wouldn't let me down some day in the middle of the street.

I've had cheap Indian and Ducatti cdi's fail but I think whatever the make you should give it a fighting. Hands of survival by rubber mounting it. I'm certain that vibration transmitted through the frame is what kills them most of the time

I mount mine on a regular bracket with rubber glued to it and some regular rubber trim between the screws and the CDI so it absorbs some of the vibrations.
Some seem to handle vibration better than others.

BGM stuff looks quality but often it is NOT. I've had 3 stators, 1 CDI and 3 LED rear lights fail. I don't buy their stuff anymore.

From now on I will only buy Vespa PX replacement CDI or Mitsubi CDI!
2 BGM CDI fail on me while out on trips seems too much. Lets see if I'll contact Mr BGM on this.

Unless BGM contract manufacture their own designs I'm guessing some of the other stuff is just rebadged same as the rest.
