the only reason I ask is when I replaced my bearing last and refitted the crank found the crank to be
stiff, couldn't see why it would be,so used engineers blue on casing`s found the crank was dragging
on the casing, after measuring bearing found it was undersized in width allowing crank to be drawn into casing further.

as soon as I took the seal out it was fine my balls up
