Thats what I was hoping for idea wise ill look at mine aswell if it goes pear shaped I have 2 spare carrier platesrosscla wrote:I think if you use a disk type axle the nut can tighten against the shoulder on the axle with the link in between, the carrier is then inboard of that then a top hat / spacer then the wheel. The caliper carrier would be free to move round the axle but be constrained by the anti-dive fixing to the fork leg.
