Aye, done 1000's of miles with mates this year & many other years & never needed these. I reckon it's so he can have his Doris on the back & listen to her rattling on & on & on & on about how her khyber is aching.

Can't imagine why anybody would want one. We get enough shite in our ears as it is and that's probably one of the best reasons for riding a scooter.
