Misano cases - why?
looks like there is more room on them to experiment with crank case induction rather than ye old less efficient piston port induction as well. Possibility of using thicker crank case webs to cure the ol twisty crank scenario. I like em I must admit.

Ok I concede that was maybe a little unfair.Rich_T wrote:I would definitely say it is not vanity, I think that is doing Tino a big dis-service. .
I 'm absolutely sure that it takes a big degree of motivation , determination and self belief to launch a product that has a very limited market and see it through to full production, and to be clear on that I mean more than a few dozen units. What I meant by 'vanity project' was more 'I thought this up and I'll see it through' whether it actually makes commercial sense remains to be seen .

I would be interested to know what they cost. let's have a poll to see who gets closest. Nearest gets a free casing. Not sure Tino will be up for that though.
I'll get the ball rolling and go for £3750

All of these super duper engines are the same, be they twins or new cases. Too bloody expensive for 99% of us and you won't be able to buy spares for them in a year or two.
Meus Lambretta est non infractus. Is est quietus.
