they seem to be finished in a dull bronzey colour, but they are
very well made, just fitted a pair to my gp,they feel a lot better
than the kwak dampers,i didnt quite pay £175 for them either.

they were difficult to photograph. i've tinted the photos so they all have the same general tone. the color is in between a silver and a gunmetal i'd say. performance has exceeded my expectations - they really are good. in combination with the bgm rear shock i've my TS1 S2 dialed in perfectly - a real joy to tour on now. can't say enough about them - i know that may sound like a sales pitch but it's honest.

Scooter Center have them, they are just not on their website.
The reason for this is that they are building a new website and so at the moment they are not updating the old one(and haven't been for a long time). So they have loads of new stuff thats not on the website because they say that would be double the work.
The new site should be ready at the end of the month.

Welll....... The BGM were duly tested at Mallory Park at the weekend........ the main observations >
** They are waterproof!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
** In race situations where the track conditions changed totally between races a big benefit of the BGM dampers is the extremely easy adjustment.... Practice was ultra wet, so I softened them off ( position 5 ) to help with wet traction...... worked well.
In Race 1 - still ultra wet - I moved slightly to position 7 as despite the conditions i felt confident to push harder.
Race 2 was dry so I moved them again to position 9
** overall I found that the dampers worked really well tipping into high speed bends and removed some of the vagueness of steering I'd experienced previously. The front end felt planted..... which is always a good thing.
** The ease of adjustment is brilliant
** With 16 adjustments a track day experimenting with setups will definitely help to get them set up perfectly
Are they worth the money? Well I'd have to say yes for performance riding....... and definitely 100% yes from a race point of view.
Intrestingly there were at least 4 Group 4 race scooters with them fitted at the weekend...... so a big take up for such a new product....... expect to see half the grid on them next race!
Available from Cottage Lambretta - 01302 350404 - tell them I sent you!
