Eventually SIP have returned my email regarding the faulty shock and with me moving house it will probably cause chaos, even though its in the same village but lets hope they send the courier to the correct address. I have sent the correct address twice now.
I have been offered a full refund for the shock, but no mention of additional compensation. You would have thought at least a 20% discount on my next order.

Yeh, you should have received a UPS postage sticker with the letter. Ive contacted them and they returned the email wanting to clarify my new address so hopefully it should get picked up shortly. My shock is already packed waiting on collection.

I have a sip front shock and no problems, but one of my mates came off after his front shock came apart. Mine is just adjustable and not the gas type, is it just higher market ones with the trouble. Mine is the reddish coloured one and feel it could the the upmarket one with the trouble. I love this new shock has I carry a bit of weight with front rack etc, not sure what to do now.

Yeh its the SIP shock with the brushed alloy and coloured spring, cost about £120. Its not all of them its a batch and so if you bought it from SIP and have not heard anything I wouldn't be to worried. My German is not very good, in fact its sheite according to the SIP forum you should of had your letter. If you bought the shock from a dealer thats a different story, they have had the letters for ages and so its up to them to get in touch with you.

Has anyone had there shock collected by UPS yet, I think I am at 10 emails to SIP and 3 to UPS. I still have the shock, two weeks since I received the letter. I have also sent Sybil a PM and email and not received a reply. There silence is unbelievable.
I think I may have upset them with some of my emails, but who gives a fck. It wouldn't even surprise me if the email address have changed, they don't keep an email address for long as I have found out in the past.
Would be interested to hear anyone else's dealings with SIP in a similar situation.
