can you show us more photos of the cylinder skirt,it looks like it has knocked off the thinner machined spigot,this may not impede the running of the kit!

It's not the worst damaged casing I've seen but it's a fiddly repair. It needs building up with weld then the crankcase mouth and gasket face need sorting.
The cylinder could be repaired with a steel liner.

Closer pics of the barrel, you can still see a piece of the rod embedded in the side wall. Is it possible to salvage this, the head is perfect no damage at all.

langcourts in Weston Super Mare can repair the barrel, and re-nicasil it.
If you don't want a steel liner that is.
