my
revit 2 piece was
waterproof for about 18 months as long as all the inners were left in but that started letting water in while doing lands end to john o groats earlier this year, I then decided to ware my
revit all in one over suit over the top of the 2 piece set and that kept me waterproof for a while until coming back from the Worsop rally a few weeks ago.
Nothing at all is 100% waterproof for any length of time if its raining hard enough. getting wet through is all part of the scootering experience, at least you can get away with p1551ing your self to get a little warmth from time to time

My army camouflage goretex trousers have never let any water in and are light and fold up to the size of a fist. Approx 18 quid. And I've done some very wet weather on my scooter.

My Helly Hansen plastic trawlermans kit (similar to the Grundens) is still waterproof. Bought about 1984 or 5. Used daily for a 40 mile commute and about 15 epic winter trips to Ireland.
Rukka plastic overmitts and Dunlop reinforced chemical wellies over felt socks.
Not stylish. At. All. But dry, so easy to keep warm, day after day, mile after mile.

If you know anyone who works for Royal Mail, ask if they can get you some of their waterproof trousers. Best I`ve had!!

GLscoot wrote:Golf Waterproofs, you can buy from £30 - £300, there light and work, there also very good for stopping the wind as well.
This is what I use actually. The pants pack into a neat little pack, they're very light and totally waterproof. You can also wear them to play golf in!!! Mine are Mizuno and weren't cheap but they do a good job and are easy to get on and off...
