pump the lever as normal then pull in and tie wrap it leave over night all the bubbles will have come to the top, then fill up jobs a good un. :D

is there a bearing in the bleed valve? im not a vespa man sorry

It allows the air and fluid to pass through the valve but when you release the lever it doesn't allow air back into the system.

I've just done the linked brakes on an X9 this way, a pain as there are 3 calipers and a bypass valve but it works.

I have to bleed a brake on my Nexus last week and I tried everything from operating the lever to sucking (Mitivac) and a syringe. No progress.

Finally, I tried opening the bottom nipple (with a hose attached) and really pumping the lever fast. This really moved the bubbles (at last) and all was good with the world.

god knows, tried one way valve, no joy
tried syring from bottom through pipe onto valve, filled the reservoir, still nothing,
bed time,,,, one morning to fix, or its here for a week, brighton calling, help

This non return valve does it go inline or after the bleed nipple,

after the bleed nipple, in the middle of the piece of pipe you attach to the nipple.

Right i'm with you now, how we used to bleed brakes in the old days, they used to make bleed nipples with spring non return valves, put some on my 1600e cortina,if only.

oops, pic, fluid leaking from hose. found the problem, next prob, changing hose, px125 08 plate, best option?
day andd half wasted on that job, bloody vethpas :D
