I'd keep your 46 tooth clutch. Spend the money on one of Rich_T's chain tensioners. While you're doing an order, I'd get a 19 tooth sprocket as well.

Why 46 clutch and 19 tooth sprocket?

Because if you put a 47 in it, it'll be revving the knackers off it at 70mph.
The 46 with an 18 on the GP box will give you a final drive of about 5.11 (5.22 with the 47).
About 4.8 with a 19.
With the close 3rd/4th, and the fact you've not got a high revving crosser pipe on it, it should pull 4.8 well enough.

Unless you're a sumo wrestler, obviously.

So my shopping list should now look like this:

GP200 Clutch Sprocket 46 tooth
Chain GP200 (ltalian) 82 Pitch
GP200 Lower Chain Guide
GP200 Drive Sprocket 19 tooth
GP200 Gear Box (SIL) 4 Gears & Cluster

Haven't you got the 46 sprocket already?

And.. I'd get the 18t too.

Rich_T on here for a chain guide (top). I wouldn't bother with a lower one, personally.

I'd get a handful of shims too, if they're only pennies.

Why get the 18t as well? Sorry for all the questions ---- on a learning curve!

It'll pull the 18 easily. It should pull the 19t. They're cheap.. and saves two lots of postage.

If you're ordering from Scooter Restorations, it's a good idea to order a couple of their solid brass exhaust gaskets.

Cheers Muttley Mcladd - gonna sleep on it and think about putting the order in tomorrow.

Cheers - was talking to a few of the lads in my club tonight and most of them reckon I should go for a Li150 box - decisions, decisions!
