Really? A Lambretta shock must have rubber bushes to function as it should both radially and laterally this is the only shock I know if that's used on a Lambretta that doesn't do this.

Yes it does, doesn't it? And it is priced around the same bracket. Think I may get one in a couple of months for the other gp and also the front ones as it had them spring type front shockers when I bought it and by all accounts, they are pretty naff. :!:

Is that the standard Indian ones that were fitted to the later super vijays or the ones that frank sanderson does ? Ifthe latter then what shockers are on there how old are they are theyoil filled orlike some just a spring ? Ive had several scoots with this conversion and can say iv never had anything better, ifthere the wrong ones then maybe that why you have been told there naff , have you actually tried them ?
If you put a pic up it might help also ifyou want to get rid let , e know and ill do you a swap on the fork links ifthere spanish or italian for some standard damper converted ones

They are like the frank sanderson ones, but I think they are a Asian copy. They fit standard fork brackets and links [ drum type outboard disc ], they are c spanner adjustable and chromed. I've never tried em as the scoot was bought minus the engine, so it's off the road until I get a GT200 big block kit later in the year to build into me new casings.

I know what you mean but not tightening up the nuts too hard, there should be enough play with nylon bushes, without snapping the shock or even the frame etc. People using brass inserts may have more snapping issues. Plenty of feedback on the forums about this.
