thanks fellas, i think david blyths idea is the easiest as i dont have the tinkering time right now. i had used a kx500 filter before with an ali plate for the filter to clip round. not perfect but it was on its way to being a good idea. i will re concider this later.

where can i get that hose and filter from david? i need it for the 30mm mikuni, do they do one?
