only cos they are fab kits for the £ ,we have done lots and always with good results ..your 24mm carb is a bonus and they actually do require this along with a few other things to make them work .
a bigger clutch sprocket will help gearing wise if its on the 20 tooth ..a 21 will help in that case ..
if you tune it ,cut the crank and match the ports and use an expansion chamber they can easily pull a 22 .
a genuine 70/75 max speed is easily obtainable from these kits with a bit of tuning /fettling

I think because Sean is going to say something along the lines of..............
with a 24mm carb, SIP road, casings matched, and 21 tooth clutch gear you've got a bulletproof little set up?

And the Mk2 version which is out now is better than the already good Mk1 version.

Ive just replaced a 180 kit with a malossi 166 for a friend whos just got back into the scene after 20 odd years..
He was running a 24/24 p200 carb and simonini btu wouldn't run properly, so after the initial strip down of the top end the ring gaps were about 3mm mybe slightly more ...
So binned the top end, Matched the 166 to the cases, tided the inlet and cut 10mm from the crank and flowed it, shamfered the ports (hideously sharp) and fettled the exhaust port slightly, upjetted to a 118 main and upgeared to I 22 tooth clutch drive...
Seems to be pretty good I think the pipe restricts it a tad but it was newly bought beforehand so he wanted to keep it on..
could've gone a little more with porting the piston windows but he didn't want to much more doing ....
