thanks for all the suggestions lads . I have been searching the net and keeping an eye on ebay for a few weeks but nothing has turned up yet.
The seller mentioned that he had seen a repair panel offered somewhere so I'll try contact him again.

Chop or accident damage is defo the way to go,I could also try contacting some scoot shops that do restos they may have something useable perhaps.

I've got the frame loop from an Indian GP I just chopped up for racing if its any good?

I could chop the back section off for you if you want for the cost of postage. Im not sure if they differ from LI to GP in this section of the loop but its yours if you want it.

wow scoots thats very generous of you buddy thank you. ;)
It must be close to the same profile I'm sure but it will give me a perfectly useable tempoary solution if nothing else.

This is the minimum bit that I need at the bottom . If you were to cut somewhere through the bit that is hidden under the rear light it would be perfect
I'll cover the cost of postage and packing thank you .

Ok cool, I'll slice it just above the light area and that will give you plenty to play around with.

Just PM me your address and I'll try and get it in the post tomorrow for you, then you can Paypal the postage cost over when I know what it is.

The front part of the loop is well dodgy anyway so no good for a total replacement so will ensure at least some of it escapes the skip :)
