bought a set of indian panels a few years back, also at the shop was a nos italian panel ( with innocenti sticker) visualy the difference was above the louvre recess front top where it curved all the indian panel had a ripple some more than others but the italian panel was smooth there was also some minor diferences in the finishing and quality of the lower edge , but once finished and painted i doubt you coud tell which was which.

There are some very different quality panels coming out of India, some have nicely pressed narrow top edges, whereas others have very wide and rippled top edges. Also, some Indian panels I've seen already had little strengthening plates welded around the tight corners, which is probably better if you consider that most Italian panels split here long-term.
