When I used to ride it years ago I used to get 65 70ish going by the speedo it has been sitting round for a long though without being used so maybe that has something to do with it .

T5s, P2s, Rallys dont do 70.
Just out of interest what did she see on the speedo at 66mph on the gps?

when you get the "my P2T5Rally goes off the clock ...80mph.." crack at rallys, I always ask if they struggled to get past a HGV doing 55mph on the limiter on the way there...the usual answer is "aye but no but....well aye but ya nar"

Try stuck rings on the piston for loss of power. Regards GPS, i've clocked my mate doing 60+ but 70 may be a struggle....depends on the driver and engine spec' as well....

I had a GPS running watch in my jacket pocket on a trip from London to Norfolk a few years ago. When I checked it had recorded a max speed of 64mph which had been on a long flattish bit of dual carriageway. The scoot was loaded up with my work rucksack and a weekend bag and I'd been sitting bolt upright. That was a well used T5 Classic with Sito Plus and a 28 phbh.
