good replys but alas not every dealer thinks the same way, i think no 5 would be worth looking into as some people would love to see the practical tuning going on then realise what you guys face on a day to day challenge and realise where the costs come from. it would be ice to see a sign in scooter shops advertising prices ie labour £30 head skimming £15 etc

It's incredible how much we are prepared to spend on these iconic machines but don't think I could ever justify spending the amount that's been suggested especially if your riding it regularly.....

Its all personal choice i guess. Some people love the thought of dining in an 'all you can eat for £5' buffet, whilst that would send chills down someone else's spine. The other guy might want fine food and expensive wine........the price of which would make the buffet man wince!! Neither right nor wrong......choice and variety.
Some people spend on scooters, some on vintage cars, some on modern mountain bikes, others on expensive shoes/trainers, some on fags and beer, some on vintage wine, others on swiss watches..........you have to spend it one something! lol
Although some others might invest money....just so they have more money, but then never spend it and are as tight as a ducks arse.....lol.
But i honestly believe it doesn't matter what amount you spend, or what you spend it on, as long as you can afford it and it makes you happy. You cant take any of this s**t with you, and no point being the richest man in the graveyard, just enjoy it whilst you can.

Although some people spend lots of money on their scooters, they can conversely be reluctant to display this, in case it appears vulgar etc. I don't see such a category being helpful......people can attach prices to their current threads if they wish, rather than being categorised/judged by price or forced to say what it cost etc.
