I wasn't aware of this conversion which does appear to be well made (from what i can see) and if it's from Frank Sanderson i expect it to be good.
However it's not something i would go for. I did once flirt with modifying and modernising a scooter. But nowadays i like my scooters to look more like Innocenti intended.

Each to his own................... :)

I would keep my inboard disk so would look more or less the same. I'm unimpressed with the escort type of dampers and if I'm to fit something modern like the BGM the step is small to a pair with external springs :)

The cost for the PM ones are less than for BGM + new springs :)

The outboard system won't clear the TV mudguard, but will clear the GP mudgard. I suppose you could fettle

:( Is much grinding needed? As the scooter is in bits now and for painting I cant test this out before... Really do not want to cut the mudguard after having just been sprayed....

Give Frank Sanderson a call, he can tell you exactly what's needed.

Will require scomado outboard disk brake and links unfortunately and probably cutting the mudguard so I suppose I'll have to stick with internal springs...

BGM + MB progressive will have to be the solution I reckon... Cheers for the help chaps!

They said it was... probably because of the drum stop and the links being developed for that particular brake... Too bad but internal will be fine too...

Other outboard disc brakes are available...
