Finally got a reply from DVLA....she was originally white and red (panels and horncast I guess).

Not sure about the red bits so think I will stick to all white.

Off to paint this week (at last)....Were the flywheel, head cowl and rear mudguard the same white as the body (8082) or a different shade.....I'm thinking they were an "off white"?

Any ideas appreciated.

Cheers!

This colour thing is quite a whole debate in itself. This is silly, but all of the Lunas that I've ever bought from Italy, either a Lui 75s or a Lui 50cl where originally ocre / lobster orange and they had the factory 75s silver over them. On none of them you could tell the paint wasnt from the factory because there was no painted rubber and it was that precise lechler toned silver. However, if you looked under the pannelwork, there was clear signs that the scooter had a respray. Generally was due to the first owner not liking the colour and supidly agreeing with the shop owner to "change" the scooter to their desired colour to make a fast buck.....

P.S: Silver is a colour I cannot get away from. I bought another Lui 75s in England that had been imported... and it was also silver... This one was originally that color tho
