Harpo mate the TS is running really well now it starts on the choke first kick every time and as i said earlier it's a real strong motor, JB built the motor so will mail him and see if he's done one with a super tourer and had it on the dyno,i have the jetting for the mikuni wrote down and will get that for ya ok, but as i said i'm looking a little more from it the motor and i think probably a super tourer will get me close, and again thanx for all your work on the scoot i love it a crackin job, Jonashford thanx for the info, also as Syduckett says if it's only slightly down on the race at top end it could be a no brainer. Hicksy.

Wait for the Super Race.

The AF NK road came out as all round best pipe for the TS1 in Sticky's Scootering Mag test, but it isn't painted so people don't seem to want it.

I want the super race!!!

The problem with the NK road pipe is the clearance underneath, there isnt any!!! lol

Its a great exhaust tho and works very well

I've got the super tourer on a new RB250 motor ( Cyclone 5 speed fitted ) i had built in the summer. It was delayed getting to me due to the Cyclone recall so it's still not fully run in yet. I have given it the odd very short blast and if i'm totally honest i'm a little bit under whelmed by it. It doesn't seem to have the kick in the pants of the NK i have fitted to my Imola. Maybe my motor needs to be fully run in before i get the best from the pipe? I've just got an NK race to fit once run in to compare the two against each other. I know they are un painted but some clear VHT paint does the trick ( i like the un painted look ) and the paint on the super tourer is burning off already. I think the NK is great valve at £225 compared to over £300 for the super tourer it totally transformed my Imola.

I have to agree re the NK, it fitted straight on so no bending etc like previous JL's and gives the best kick out of any of the other pipes I've had on my TS1 allowing it to rev to 9900 in 3rd. It's also the only pipe that hasn't scraped enough to lift the rear wheel yet and there's no chicken strips on the tyres . It's also interesting that a well known dyno place on here commented that the Super tourer didn't hold the power for long on a mates TS1.

I'd say the NK has the advantage as it was designed from day one to work with the RB. I've used Franspeed pipes on a few set ups and they are well made and fit well but I'm a massive fan of the NK for it's value for money bang.

Have to agree with what's been said re the NK race giving more bang for buck. Was all or nothing as I recall. have another one again, just need to get an end can for it.
