That's exactly what happens. When they are warm the carb floods. There is a fix for it. There's a man called George Lemons, who I think is on the LCGB forum who has a modified part that is said to cure it. As I said previously. It is a known issue.
I think theres a modification written about in the little red/pink Lambretta book.
I will try and have a look later.

Hi Any help appreciated. I think everyone is on the right lines with the flooding problem, i noticed dripping petrol from the airbox overflow (framebreather) so it is definately too much fuel. I will see if i can get a red book, have stickies two manuals and a blue one guess im hunting another, if you find anythink let me know
Thanks
Thanks
Yeah but the shell is likely to be worn ! Do yourself a favour and buy a new carb imho

Hi Shaun
Thanks for this I saw this note the weekend whilst reading every book I have and scratching my head. I am going to do an air leak test this weekend, just making a device to do it from an old blood pressure monitor and a couple if bungs. Just want to make sure I have no leaks before I try and find a replacement carb. Have it running ok, but as it warms the revs rise and I cannot get the mix to sit right, all fun and games
