yes very serious, ran on it all year no problems the agusto took care of it no worries

Does the engine have to be running at 6000 when the arrow lines up with the mark or just heading in that direction?

Hi Jonno sorry didnt spot your reply , the agusto will allow the arrow to line up with the 18degree mark on the mag housing when you kick the engine over, then as you rev it up the arrow on the flywheel will drop backwards towards the other marks you have made on the housing towards the TDC. it should drop back no further than say 15 degrees at maximum revs or you will lose top end power.
hope that explains a little better, Obviously this can only be checked with a strobe/timing light

Thanks Torco only reason I asked was when I had mine fitted at Replay I just blatted the throttle while they checked the timing,and was never at max revs.
