Same thing happened to me in Italy in August when it was really hot. Mine turned out to be the kickstart reference pin!

I would definately go down one on the main jet .. clearly a case of 30mm ethanol spit back !! :?

I think the flap is too short to catch on the rear wheel and I already fitted a replacement antimatter stabiliser - and before you ask it was the expensive MB one!

The new carb has a remote filter fitted to a hose that lies horizontal facing the rear of the bike - could it be some crap coming out of that? Would that 'melt' the rubber?
