This was on one of the old mb RAMAIR filters attached to the carb hose. Now it's direct onto the bell out of the carb, not sure if that makes it run differently?

Well it appears to be sorted!
X7 needle
2nd clip
122 main
18 degrees
Marchald filter

"Hunting" a bit coming off the throttle but will knock down to 16 or 17 degrees
And then dyno

Thank you all for help!

I tried an x13 and to be fair it worked well, but just thought I would try and run rich as possible, while keeping the clear running. I thought it would only "hunt" if it was running weaker?

give this a try
if the revs are hanging up when rolling off i richen ur pilot jet or and mixture screw ,start by doing the mix screw almost fully rich (3 turns out) which may need the tickover adjusting and see how u get on if no better then try a bigger pilot jet which will need a leaner mix screw setting to clean up the response off bottom ,theres lots of combinations of pilot/mix screw setting/tickover (which lifts the slide and changes the effective cutaway) so you have to play around a bit eg 50 pilot 3 out on mix on high slide/tickover screw will behave different to 50 pilot 1/2 out on mix on low slide/tickover screw
u can get away with a bigger 60 pilot on 1/4 out on mix screw but a quick change of pilot and leaving the mix at 3 out will have u think it wont take it or u might not be able to get it to tickover even until other adjustments are made so dont write off a bigger pilot up to 65 ,if it runs well on bigger than 65 suspect an air leak
feel free to use this link to contact me on facebook and like it(if u like it)

Will order the parts today so I've got a few spares, pilots are something I've never changed. Great advice Darrell cheers, will update soon as Ive tried it.
