I had bearings fall to bits when my engine was stripped last month fitted by a dealer in north York's 1000moles ago.
They where stamped made in Korea:o

just got the said bearing out and it was an SKF EXPLORER..im not blaming the bearing as my crank was running out by 0.010" and i guess this could have been the cause,although the grease was very watery(didnt smell of petrol)..
