Well, had a day of garage based fettling and the pipe is on.
It filts well Tony. It clears the rear panel but as i dont have rear footboards i cant comment about that.
My lack of experience with slip joint spring exhausts but i did struggle a little to get it on.
Is the idea to fit the elbow to the exhaust port and then the pipe to that like i would with my clubman etc? The joint seem very tight (which i assume is good) and i did not fancy trying to get it onto the elbow after this was on the exhaust studs.
I went to a 112 on the main with the mixture screw 1 turn out. This is providing a dark brown plug with some lighter brown parts. when first on the scoot if i wound open the throttle, it would stutter briefly clear and pull very well, especially in 3rd. (this was on 2 turns out of the screw) after it had been wound in a turn and possibly warmed up a bit, this did improve but its still a little evident.
overall, very happy with the purchase and it just needs fine tuning i think.
