Points go to ...Donnie. Took scoot to the Solent Cougars Weekender and scoot switched off as normal. Fitting a B8 plug did the trick, cheers mate...

This happend to my T5 once, just fitted a 172 kit to it and went for a quick blast around the industrial estate. Got to the end of the road and it started reving really hard so I turn off the key and it still ran, screeming its nuts off, pulled off the HT cap and it was still going. In the end I had to rip the end off the new ramair filter and jam a rag in it. Did the walk of shame home and took the plug out and it had a melted end.
