Just had the same on a mates RB, fitted a new LT coil all fine a 2000 revs get to over about 4.5/5000 revs and it jumps all over the place, I'm blaming the AF lightened flywheel, had the same problems on my own scooter a few years ago, tried 5 different stators, 4 different CDI's, HT leads, plugs, plug caps etc and it would always missfire at higher revs, fitted a SIL flywheel and it was fine.
