Thanks seems like jetting is in the right area nice colour on plug and got about 10.5 miles per litre going to exmouth pulling lovely in all gears, nearly ready for the dyno but on the way to exmouth it was struggling on the hills (and not that big hills) had to scream it 3rd and big loss when going to 4th wondering about gearing its running a li150 box 47_18 already in when I got it.

I am thinking maybe wrong setup as my other ts runs li125, 46_15 jl4 and it goes well in all areas.

But am I expecting to much with the jl3 as the 4 is a lot more revier ( is that a word )

Been reading a lot on gearing and looked at the visualiser very impressive, if I knew what I was looking at :D

Just about getting a brain freeze now any thoughts please would be appreciated

Sorry for the long post

I run my TS1 225 with a Mikuni 35 tmx. During running in, through advice from Phil at MB, I have it set at 22.5 idle, 320 main and a 57 needle, 2nd clip down. I am using an Indian GP 200 gearbox with a 46 / 19 setting. It also has a Taffy pipe. Runs sweet as a nut. I use that for 2 up and solo riding. At the moment, I'm getting about 8 or 9 miles per ltr.
