I also thought longer engine mounts increased vibration slightly but gave stiffer handling..... stand to be corrected....

The search is only as good as the content on the forum relating to the search performed, and the key terms used buy the person searching...... ;)

I did a random search just now for an RB20 port map and there it was, 4th post in: http://scooterotica.org/forum/viewtopic ... 0+port+map

I've found it to be the other way around. Less vibration but more movement in the motor (at least with 3 hole type mounts). I have some solid Casa mounts on a motor that I'm trying out in the next month or so.

Haha. Probably my unrefined search technique. http://scooterotica.org/forum/search.ph ... gine+mount

I tried " Lambretta and Engine and Mount" but got the same results. Was looking for a refinement that allowed 'search for posts containing " Lambretta and Engine and Mount" rather than " Lambretta or Engine or Mount"....it is probably there and I just don't know how to work it?

By 'longer', we are referring to the double length type not the normal series 3 type.

I'm a bit confused by that too (easily done :-) )

Longer = more flex/less vibration...accepted

Xl Offside (Rught hand side as sat on vehicle for non Brits) = Even more flex?....but more balanced between the two mounts? IE another way of achieving balanced work load on both mounts compressive material than differing shore hardness?

SIL 3 hole going in tonight, will do until I have tested the Casa solid ones.
