Just been out for a proper test run after refitting the clutch. Can't say I'm overwhelmed. Better top end but not much better than a KBA big bore and a LOT noisier (And I've removed and refitted it to make sure that the fit is absolutely spot on and there are no leaks anywhere.) Some adjustment to the carb might perk it up but I suspect the gains will be marginal. Certainly not as good as the Ancillotti that was originally fitted. What a shame that the quality of the steel on them is so bloody awful.

So, in summary (so far) nice pipe, well made but noisy and as for the amazing performance gains claimed in certain circles..... I remain open minded but skeptical.

On the MB / BGM, nothing (as far as I know), the Ancilloti on the other hand is made of cheese. After the silencer split three times and the downpipe twice I gave up repairing it.

Your only the 2nd person I know of who have said its not better and the other was a Mugello as well, what exhaust timing and head are you using ?

I didn't say out was no better. It is. The top end is definately an improvement. Its just that after all of the hype about it being a quantum leap in clubman performance I'm a bit underwhelmed although to be fair, it wants setting up properly on a dyno
