First thing, check your bulb wattage, "I think" isn't a good start then you need to check the wattage of everything else too, rear light, speedo, your Pathfinder LED's and any gauges. From this you can calculate how much power you are using.
What speeds were you riding and what conditions of traffic/rpm and time were you riding?
If wired up correctly and your battery runs down, you should be running directly from the stator with no power support from the battery, this should easily run a standard lighting set up. It could be something as simple as a wiring error or time for a new battery as it's simply not holding charge, but as I say it should run from the stator in that case. If you check all the above and you still have issues, then it sounds like your stator, but check the above first

My battery was buggered after being left on scoot, outside over winter. Agree you need 14v + volts to charge but a duff battery might be worth checking.

LED Sidelight Bulb
Standard speedo bulb (wattage not know not taking headset off to check)
standard 21/5W rear/brake light bulb.
Pathfinders not usually on but LED bulbs unknown wattage, (whatever they were when you sold me the Pathfinders)

So usual running wattage = 45W + small amount for speedo bulb. 48 Watts max I'd say.
